Mental health history
John Domeck was an avid defender of his faith in his time; but also was keenly aware of the Marlquaanite rubies and how others would use them for evil. Keeping that from happening became his most single-minded goal for most of his early life. He even employed his family, his wife "
" and daughter Marge, in aiding his mission. His being transported to the 21st century involuntarily has left him with a severe case of
Rip Van Winkle syndrome
. He was being monitored by
, a close ally of his since they met in 2012. After Hea was deactivated as a SCALLOP agent, the two of them formed a close partnership. This bond between them appears to be a very strong one, as not even their forced separation during the Beliah Amendment Enforcement Hearings appears to have kept them away from each other for very long. However, Hea's incarceration did result in him going into hiding, no longer taking up residence with her. He was last seen training what appeared to be his apprentice, Roy Bernald. Little else was known of his time in hiding, except that he kept watchful eye over
lest she find herself in too much danger.
John's bond with the Marlquaan appears to have massively slowed down his aging process, while improving his ability to recover from injuries. He does not, however, appear to be truly immortal.
