General Xiang is a supporting character in The Gerosha Chronicles of Dozerfleet Comics. His existence was canon from Gerosha Prime - Comprehensive Gerosha, with him written out of existence in 2012 for Cataclysmic Gerosha. He featured in the unfinished 2005 version of Ciem 2, and was set to return for the 2009 version. He was also to feature in Ciem: Nuclear Crisis. He was the boss of Black Rat, Tin Dragon, Stung Hornet, and Teal Hog.

Character bio

Little is known about General Xiang, except that he was to lead a team of covert agents into China to intercept the Ming-Yo and recover it from whoever currently possessed it. He proves as confused as anyone else when it is revealed that neither Vienna Dockler nor Miriam Flippo has it. He loses his best men to Captain Aardwulf before Ciem and Emeraldon are able to retrieve and destroy the Ming-Yo. As Emeraldon disposes of it, Ciem battles Aard to distract him. It is not revealed if Xiang ever learns the full truth. But word of a nuclear explosion in the Gulf of Mexico catches Xiang's attention that the Ming-Yo may have been destroyed. He remains on high alert for the Ming-Cho, convinced it too will eventually turn up somewhere.

Xiang was first envisioned in September of 2005 as a minor background character. He was to be mentioned periodically, but with no real plan for how often he would actually appear. His placement in Ciem 2 was to show someone that Black Rat in particular could take orders from. Otherwise, he remains one of many supporting roles for Ciem 2 and Ciem: Nuclear Crisis that was not thoroughly developed.
