Farmington 15 News is an occasionally-updated news show put on for the city of Farmington. It is usually shot in studio A of SWOCC Studios' facility. The below article documents briefly what happened during the June-July episode of 2010.
After an opening played, which featured highlights of the city, Brian gave the introduction. He was joined by Debbie Nogel for this episode, who sat in place of Jolene Alaniz.
After a segment advertising the Founders Festival parade, a segment came up talking about the mayor's budget plans.
That was followed up by an ad for Rythmz at Riley Park, the summer-long event which sponsored the Hullabaloo Concert mentioned on this wiki. Bands that had performed before Hullabaloo included Annabelle Road and Billie Mack & the Juke Joint Johnnies. Debbie commented that the kids dancing everywhere at those concerts was not unlike the kids that danced everywhere at Art on the Grand.
After a few other segments for events that would be arriving in September or so, a final send-off segment was done celebrating the life and mourning the death of local resident John Sailer. An important man to Farmington, Sailer was born in 1943 and died suddenly in 2010.
With Kat and Paul working on the linear editor and the Dozerfleet founder assisting with control room switches, Frank and Lamarr worked on the camera end. The June-July segment was shot, per usual, against a green screen. The graphics specialist per usual simulated an actual newsroom background. "SWOCC staff" did, however, receive credit for their contributions, listed as "technical assistance."
