The Dozerfleet Gold Bar Statistics System (a.k.a., "GBS") is an optional 49-value (56 if all-zero fields apply) ranking system in Dozerfleet Comics, used to gauge the superheroics capacity of any given character in seven different fields which are of interest to the comic book industry. It is based heavily on the Marvel Power Grid.
It is considered an undertaking of Dozerfleet Labs, as it is a web trinket primarily. It was put into practice on DozerfleetWiki on May 15th of 2013, having been formally defined from May 15th-May 17th of that year. In addition to giving Dozerfleet characters some compatibility with Marvel's statistics policy, it serves to make characters easier to process statistically for Superhero Database.
This field is comparable to the "intelligence" field in Marvel's Power Grid. It measures how intellectually competent a character is.
- 0 bars: Character has no mind of his own, and is a special case.
- Pilltar, for example, is only as smart as the pilot wielding him.
- 1 bar: Character is not the brightest bulb. It doesn't mean they're hopelessly stupid in all areas; but that they aren't academically top-notch.
- Meerkat has limited education, but still knows how to get married to a Japanese bride and provide for her while living in a Louisiana swamp.
- 2 bars: Character has average intelligence. Nothing about their mental functioning would catch anyone particularly off guard as being abnormal.
- Novel Ashley Phillips is a prime example. Her actions and behavior indicate someone who makes decisions that are believable for a woman her age and in her set of circumstances to make. That the consequences of those actions are so drastic is beyond her control, as she cannot predict Chris' behavior.
- 3 bars: Character is anywhere from slightly-above average to straight-A student. They aren't super geniuses, but they can deduce things at a slightly higher rate than normal.
- Ciem (Cataclysmic version) barely qualifies, being closer to 2-1/2 bars.
- 4 bars: Character is clever, and innovative enough to create at least the basics of what they need. Some may think they are genius-level, but they don't consider themselves quite that smart just yet.
- Seth Lambrelli is at this level, on the higher end. He almost qualifies for a 5-bar rating.
- 5 bars: Character is certifiably a genius. He can make anything out of anything, or else can solve almost any problem that comes his way.
- Cataclysmic Denny Levens could count as this, since he invented Remotach pills that can allow someone to survive decapitation. (Note: This version of the character is unique in that he never actually meets Candi. In every prior version of Candi's life story, the two marry at some point. "Levens" becomes an assumed identity that Candi takes on in the Cataclysmic universe, baring no relation to Denny other than possible inspiration.)
- 6 bars: If this character were any smarter, they'd be virtually omniscient.
- 7 bars: Character is truly omniscient.
- So far, only God has been depicted this way, in Stationery Voyagers. It'd be extremely unlikely for a non-God and non-stand-in-for-God character to achieve this level of intellect in a Dozerfleet work.
This field measures the character's raw power, namely in terms of how much they can lift.
- 0 bars: Only as strong as whomever character is serving as an avatar to.
- 1 bar: Character cannot lift more than 35 lbs. for long periods of time under normal circumstances, or else cannot stand for long periods of time.

- 2 bars: Strength within the parameters of what is feasibly normal for someone human

- 3 bars: Olympic athlete or superhuman
- Ciem ranks about here.
- 4 bars: Really superhuman strength
- 5 bars: Extremely superhuman strength
- 6 bars: Absurd levels of strength

- 7 bars: Incalculable
- 0 bars: Character is not normally mobile. Special notation required
- 1 bar: Character moves a bit slower than the human norm
- 2 bars: Character has ability to move on par with what is normal for a human being
- 3 bars: Faster than an Olympic athlete at top speed, up to and including a bullet train
- 4 bars: Can keep pace with a 747 jet
- 5 bars: Sonic or supersonic speed
- 6 bars: Approaching light speed
- 7 bars: Teleportation
Endurance is a measure of how much punishment a character can take before dying.
- 0 bars: Special notation required.
- 1 bar: Character weaker than human norm. Sickly, frail, squishy, etc.
- 2 bars: Normal human endurance.
- 3 bars: "Tough bird." These characters seem to be able to survive blows that would kill anyone else, but they're not invincible.
- 4 bars: Rapid cellular regeneration. These characters can still be killed, but it's difficult since they regrow damaged tissue very quickly. Can be killed by certain poisons or by decapitation if head remains separated for too long, but can survive most injuries.
- Remotach pills temporarily give this power to whomever takes them. They enhance the ability for those who already have it.
- While Candi would die within three minutes from decapitation without it, she can survive without her head attached to her body for up to half an hour with Remotach.
- Cataclysmic Candi has been beheaded twice with Remotach. Comprehensive Candi has been beheaded four times with it, and twice without it.
- 5 bars: Bullet-resistant at minimum, otherwise bulletproof.
- 6 bars: Beyond belief. When these characters are at their peak, normal weapons are useless against them.
- 7 bars: Effectively invincible. Nukes are a slap on the wrist.

- 0 bars: Rigid as a stone.
- Hester's locket, which has no ability to move on its own
- 1 bar: Klutz. This character can barely go anywhere without tripping over themselves or knocking things over. If they fly, they tend to only be graceful in the air when there are no immediate nearby surroundings. If strong enough, they will fly right into buildings and smash through walls by accident. Characters that are rigid in structure and/or aren't supposed to be very mobile in the first place count, even if they aren't evidently destructive to their environments.
- While the Bison can dodge missiles in wide-open air, he tends to damage every skyscraper he gets near. On land, he tends to destroy nearly everything he comes into contact with.
- 2 bars: Normal human agility.

- 3 bars: Nimble, "cat like". These characters would make great burglars, and can dodge a fair number of low-velocity attacks.
- Jackrabbit is at this level, bordering on a 4.
- 4 bars: Skilled gymnast. These characters are similar to 3, but take it a tiny step further. There is almost no position they can't contort themselves into if they try, and they can dodge a fist with little effort.

- 7 bars: Can dodge lightning. Overlaps with super speed.

Also known as "energy projection," this is the ability of a character to project energy blasts over a range.
- 0 bars: Special notation required.
- 1 bar: No energy projection, or uses a regular gun/arrow/etc.
- 2 bars: Has to touch target to project energy beams.
- 3 bars: Slingshot-range energy blasts, low-impact
- 4 bars: More-punishing energy blasts, at least shotgun range
- 5 bars: "Imma firin' mah lazor!!!"
- 6 bars: Can whip up almost any form of energy needed, as opposed to just one form, to perform a level-5 attack.
- 7 bars: Master of nearly all forms of energy. No need for a concentrated blast, as this character can manipulate energy from anywhere at a whim. Range incalculable.
- 0 bars: Character is an avatar of another, is only as powerful as whoever is controlling them. Special notation required.
- 1 bar: Character has little to no ability to fight.
- 2 bars: Standard fisticuffs combat, normal human ability.
- 3 bars: Some combat skill.
- 4 bars: Seasoned veteran skill level.
- 5 bars: Equivalent to a master of combat, one form.
- The Bison can't cease to be or entirely think like a Bison, but can use his abilities and fighting style to destroy entire cities. Arguably a 6, since his "style" includes a variety of different tricks that are not similar.
- 6 bars: Equivalent to a master of multiple combat forms.
- 7 bars: Equivalent to a super being that can master new forms of combat in an instant.

In the different fields, type in "gold" for a typical stat and "crimson" or "red" for a stat that is enhanced somehow beyond a normal range for the character. The default color is a dark-gray, indicating a lack of fulfillment of that stack. If a stat is blue, then that means more than one enhancement source is required to achieve this level.
